{"id":118,"date":"2021-08-29T15:35:00","date_gmt":"2021-08-29T15:35:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/demo.casethemes.net\/intime\/?p=118"},"modified":"2025-11-25T13:27:34","modified_gmt":"2025-11-25T13:27:34","slug":"understanding-the-wonders-of-divine-direction-part-4","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/triumphantobamoh.com\/home\/understanding-the-wonders-of-divine-direction-part-4\/","title":{"rendered":"Understanding the Wonders of Divine Direction (Part 4)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>\u201d I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.\u201d<\/em><br \/>\n<strong>\u25c4 Psalm 32:8 (KJV)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Congratulations and welcome to the last few hours of August 2021.<br \/>\nOne week ago<strong>, I handed over my duties in Akwa Ibom State<\/strong> to the new State Pastor of Living Faith Church, AKS, and a few hours ago,<strong>\u00a0I resumed duties as the step-down transformer for Living Faith Church, Delta State.<\/strong> I give God all the glory, and\u00a0<strong>I am excited about what God is about to do in our midst this season.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>All through August 2021, we have been on a series titled: <strong>Understanding the Wonders of Divine Direction<\/strong>\u00a0in Parts 1 and 2 of this series, we saw how God used\u00a0<b>difficulty and desire<\/b> to lead Jacob into His will. As we conclude the series, I would like us to take a look at how God will use <b>delight<\/b>\u00a0and\u00a0<b>direction<\/b>\u00a0to lead His children.<\/p>\n<p>From our biblical case study, we have seen how God used\u00a0<strong>direction<\/strong>\u00a0to move Jacob into His will. 25 years earlier, this Jacob would never have sought God\u2019s will about whether he should move. But in Genesis 46, Jacob is seen stopping to seek God\u2019s will. This means that every time we pause to ask God to show you His will, we have His promises to answer. Please\u00a0<strong>note that God may reveal His will through Scripture, through prayer, through wise counsel, or through your desires,<\/strong>\u00a0but the Bible promises that\u00a0<strong>God will guide us if we truly want to follow Him.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Again, we see God used delight to confirm to Jacob that he was clearly in His will. In what can best be described as a great reunion scene (Genesis 46:29), the Bible says that\u00a0<strong><em>\u201cJoseph prepared his chariot and went up to Goshen to meet his father [Jacob]; as soon as he appeared before him, he fell on his neck and wept on his neck a long time.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For 25 years Joseph believed he would never see his father again, and Jacob believed his son was dead. And now there they are, weeping and embracing.
