\u201cThus says the One who is high and lifted up, who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: \u2018I dwell in the high and holy place, and also with him who is of a contrite and lowly spirit, to revive the spirit of the lowly, and to revive the heart of the contrite.\u201d\u00a0<\/em>\u00a0(<\/strong>\u00a0\u25baIsaiah 57:15<\/strong>)<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Congratulations and welcome to the fourth week of June 2021. Two weeks ago, we began a series titled:\u00a0Commanding the Supernatural\u00a0<\/strong>and so far in the series, we have established that\u00a0true revival is a Biblical concept.\u00a0<\/strong>Continuing with the series, I would like to affirm that we are all in desperate need of revival. <\/strong>Our marriages, our families, our churches, our nation\u00a0(regardless of what nation we hail from),<\/em> in every arena of life and society and religion, we need the omnipotent, renewing visitation of the Holy Spirit.<\/p>\n

As a consequence of living in a fallen world, chances are that as you read this epistle today, having endured so much persecution and hardship which Satan had intended to use to limit your influence, you have reached a breaking point in life. If this describes you or someone you know, this week\u2019s epistle is for you.<\/p>\n

Without any fear of contradiction, I want you to know that regardless of what life coaches, motivational speakers and self-help gurus teach,\u00a0the Bible is full of ordinary heroes who endured horrific hardships, but in the end, they survived their way into revival.<\/strong>\u00a0For instance, in Mark 5:25-34, the\u00a0woman with the issue of blood<\/strong>\u00a0had to crawl her way to revival. In Genesis 7:11-13 and Genesis 8:14-20,\u00a0Noah<\/strong> spent over a year on a stinky ark, surviving a worldwide flood.\u00a0Jonah<\/strong>\u00a0survived a mess of his own making (Jonah 1:1-17).\u00a0David\u00a0<\/strong>spent eight long years surviving the murderous hatred of King Saul. Paul<\/strong>\u00a0was shipwrecked, stoned\u00a0(literally to death),\u00a0<\/em>beaten, imprisoned, and survived vicious attack after vicious attack.\u00a0The list is almost endless,<\/strong> but they all had one thing in common:\u00a0they endured without quitting or giving up.<\/strong>\u00a0Once you quit,\u00a0the possibility for revival goes to zero<\/strong>. That\u2019s what the Bible means when it says,\u00a0\u201c. . . and having done all, to stand.<\/strong>\u00a0(Ephesians 6:13-14)\u201d.<\/em><\/p>\n

Sometimes just standing takes more courage than moving forward.<\/strong>\u00a0Refusing to give up in the face of crushing defeat takes more courage than winning with ease but\u00a0how would Paul have known that revival was about to break out on the island of Malta\u00a0<\/strong>while he was hanging onto broken pieces of a ship (Acts 27:44). Paul was persecuted for the Gospel\u2019s sake, not because he had done wrong. He was bound by chains, but God\u2019s Word was not bound.\u00a0He just held on until the Storm was over and faith(ed) his way into an unexpected revival.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Today, right now, God has remembered you and\u00a0if you will not give up, there is light at the end of the tunnel.\u00a0<\/strong>Right now,\u00a0if you truly desire revival,<\/strong>\u00a0I present to you the\u00a0only qualification to being revived,<\/strong>\u00a0and it\u2019s right there in Isaiah 57:15 \u2013\u00a0a lowly and contrite in heart:<\/strong>\u00a0it is the key to Commanding Signs and Wonders.<\/p>\n
